About me

I possess a diverse skill set as a leader, entrepreneur, and advocate, characterized by a steadfast dedication to community service, mentorship, and the promotion of diversity.

At present, I am entrusted with multiple significant responsibilities. I hold the position of Managing Director of Dream Code Company, a software company based in Malawi. Additionally, I hold the position of Executive Director at Focus on Developing Mother Africa (FODEMA), a non-profit organization that is committed to cultivating a transformation in the mindset of the youth.

In addition, I am currently engaged in other part-time roles. One of these responsibilities is overseeing the operations of Mpango Limited, a firm that specializes in the production of hot chili sauce and spices. In addition, I am employed in a part-time capacity as a marketer at Olivees Limited, a company specializing in housing design and advisory services

My proficiencies encompass a diverse range of fields, including IT-related knowledge and project management capabilities. I possess a strong inclination towards the fields of economics, technology, and environmental action. The overarching objective I aspire to achieve is to utilize my acquired talents and experiences in order to generate a constructive influence on the progress and advancement of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Motivating elementary Students with school resources

FODEMA

The inspiration and motivation we received from others, made us what we are today. We implemented the same strategy. We successfully inspired and distributed sugar, notebooks, math instruments, and other academic supplies to 10 rural schools in Malawi.

Fruit Tree Planting Project

FODEMA

Together with the locals of Mlenga Village, the FODEMA team was able to plant 500 fruits. In one orchard, we planted approximately 100 and the rest were planted in the locals homes. They will be able to harvest and sell the fruits in a year, making a living or investing in other local businesses

FODEMA - Rotary Club Partnership

Partnerships are the way to go these days since no man is an island. As FODEMA's CEO, I was able to involve the Blantyre Rotary club in our charitable endeavors. Since then, we have been able to collaborate to improve the lives of Malawians.

Dr. Q System Project

MUST

DreamcodeMw developed a financial system, Dr. Q, to address the "long queues" experienced in shops and banks. We've been pitching the proposal to potential investors. We pitched at Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) and received 500 USD in enhancing the project

Hypertension Monitoring System

MUST

I was a member of the group that developed and implemented a Hypertension monitoring system. In collaboration with LUANER, and HEPSS the project was funded and delivered to HEPSS.

Emissions Monitoring System

JTI

I participate in the JTi Malawi-funded Make It Bright Challenge. With a project dubbed Emissions Monitoring System, I emerged as the local winner despite how difficult the competition was

Taking time to live life will only inspire your work

Power and Will

I am aware of how many people in my community look up to me as a father, brother, and mentor. This motivates me to work harder and achieve more. Life can be challenging, but the fact that I am still here means that I have the power to make a difference and build a society that is safe and better for everyone. My life's work is to make Africa a technologically advanced continent. I will die content knowing that Africa has made technological progress.
